Your email address, and whether you told us you're an artist or part of a label/team. That's it. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor collects billing details — we never see or store your card number.
To send you the brief you asked for, and to send the right edition to the right person. We do not profile you, track you across the web, or build a behavioral record.
Unsubscribe from any email in one click. You can ask us to show you, correct, or permanently delete everything we hold on you by emailing hello@saracooperpr.com — we'll do it within 30 days. If you're in the UK or EU, that includes your rights under GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. If you're a California resident, the CCPA gives you comparable rights, and we do not sell personal information.
Our email platform and our hosting and form provider process your data on our behalf under contract. They don't use it for anything else. Currently: Netlify (hosting and signup form processing). When we add an email delivery platform we will name it here before we start sending.
For as long as you're subscribed, plus a short period after you leave so we can honor your unsubscribe. Then it goes.
We're based in California, so if you're in the UK or EU your data is transferred to and stored in the United States. We rely on the standard contractual clauses our providers have in place for those transfers, and we keep the data we hold to the minimum described above — an email address and one category.
We don't set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics, it will be a privacy-first tool that doesn't track you across other sites, and we'll say so here before we turn it on.
If we change anything material — a new provider, a new purpose — we'll update the date at the top and tell subscribers by email. We won't quietly broaden what we do with your data.
